No support for 2 weeks

From Friday 7th August, until Monday 24th August, there will be no Admin support for X-Ray.

Any problems will be dealt with after that time, at a reasonable rate.

Good luck.

muppetalert__ 07-08-2009 01:12 AM

You should really tell the TNWA guys to hire more staff.

Carwash 07-08-2009 07:51 AM

You should really stop reporting posts with that reason.

hagz 07-08-2009 10:05 AM

i will try to help out where i can over the time period that Carwash is away.

LGM 07-08-2009 04:19 PM

i thought it was the mail service that was going on strike? didnt think Xray would be to!

zen.T 07-08-2009 05:28 PM

in other words.. at least no update to XAC for another 2 weeks :( Oh well, have a good trip

hagz 07-08-2009 06:13 PM

guys i want you to remember that i am not an XAC admin anymore but still have the access of an admin so i will endeavour to help you out. once Carwash is back that is most definitely me finished in X-Ray.

pedrzjh 07-08-2009 09:55 PM

Carwash 07-08-2009 11:04 PM

LoSaH 08-08-2009 09:30 AM

You should really try taking somebody's advice if you want to appear as a reputable organisation.

simzoor 09-08-2009 12:22 AM

whats the reason that Joolz left?

hagz 09-08-2009 11:21 AM

Rudi please behave lol

simzoor i have no idea why he left but he is still doing contract based work as far asi am aware.

Sawoox 09-08-2009 12:37 PM

correction TNWA are going down and because they own Xray-gaming, they are taking it down with them.

If xac wasnt owned by TNWA then it would of survived all this turbulence.

hagz 09-08-2009 12:54 PM

well said Brad you are spot on.

roooii 09-08-2009 08:25 PM

Please let this ****ing crappy tool be gone soon.

tbh i do agree with him, xray was good so far tho,but if its on its way down, might asswel inform the partners asswel, because they are pretty much using a stopping anti cheat, ofc xray still does his job,but if there will be no support given out, than people cant use it and the xray partners will die slowly.

might want to consider it tbh...

muppetalert__ 10-08-2009 12:58 AM

Partners?

pedrzjh 10-08-2009 01:20 AM

i dno what they call it here, but leagues etc etc, remember seeing somewhere on this site 'XAC Partners' and under that tab the leagues,so ye i call them partners.

muppetalert__ 10-08-2009 01:47 AM

Ah like Clanbase etc, I get you :)

simzoor 10-08-2009 09:07 PM

muppet, can you tell me why warlord decided to code hacks to make games unfair instead of coding anticheat-programs to make games more fair?

muppetalert__ 10-08-2009 09:36 PM

Hacks are fun/challenging to develop, anti-cheat "enthusiasts" are generally idiots who just like to rage the cheaters for no reason.

hagz 10-08-2009 09:39 PM

muppet thats one way of looking at it lol

muppetalert__ 10-08-2009 09:45 PM

Hehe well it's true isn't it.. I forgot to mention the anti-cheats making themselves look stupid part but that's a given from "idiot" I think :D

Anyway reply to me on MSN! :)

hagz 10-08-2009 10:14 PM

away from home right now limited access so will be a few days

muppetalert__ 10-08-2009 11:39 PM

Alright, I just said you should buy TNWA and take over the whole situation ;)

Offer them £50 should be cool.

hagz 11-08-2009 09:42 AM

i wouldn't take it if they gave it to me. in all honesty i have no idea what the future of XAC is but right now i would not like to be a league using XAC as an anticheat but then i am nothing to do with TNWA anymore just using what access i have left to help carwash

iceman__ 11-08-2009 05:45 PM

will XAC recruit new admins?
are there updates yet to come to XAC?

hagz 11-08-2009 06:04 PM

not being an XAC admin anymore i have no idea

VARDY 11-08-2009 09:24 PM

i hope TNWA go down, they do not represent the gaming industry at all. all they want is money but since it is run by morons it wont happen.

get out while you still can tbh

hagz 11-08-2009 09:26 PM

Vardy i already left matey i now feel i have good grasp on why UTAN was dropped by TNWA

i talk to ex-TNWA staff all the time at lans and online. so i know most/some of the reasons behind it all anyways.

in basic terms, TNWA is a pile of **** and has no direction when it comes to business

RuinatioN 11-08-2009 09:38 PM

I hope TNWA blows it and goes.
I also hope XAC goes with TNWA.

The anti-cheat is so flawed it would be like holding water in a sieve!
Then there is the fact it's easy to take screenshots with the desktop as I have proven on certain OS's that can be done consistently. The tool is an invasion of privacy in the most part but it is a good job that most gamers just do that and dont try and break it or find it's flaws to perform anti-cheat. Still the who thing is ****e.

As for the Admins?
Where do I start with my experiences!
Arrogant, cocky and useless in the most part.

From what happened between TNWA, UTAN and UT2004 I see them just rape the community for all they can and then dump the community out when the going gets tough. To make it worse rather than showing they're for the community and seriously against cheating they ****ed over 4-5years work within the game by a massive amount of people. The have basically said "**** you" and then "hahahahha" with the request for help.

Do you really expect them to care whether things work out or not? Not really they're just more worried about where the next $$$$ is gonna come from and they wont care who they can **** over to get it.

I am sorry some of the admins of which there are going to be undoubtedly some good people and decent people in there who are being ****ed about/over because of TNWA and you can only hope the misery ends for them soon with a complete removal of website and services as they go fully bankrupt and cant pay the resnts and so on.

hagz 11-08-2009 10:16 PM

ruination i can assure you that when i joined XAC ( i never gave a **** about TNWA) i did it for the right reasons. If you go back to the roots of TNWA you probably arrive at Enemydown. ED was what i expected to be joining (albeit the Anticheat side of it) well your right it has gone down hill. But please don't blame the Admins here for that. Carwash and myself have had to work for the last few months under the shadow of ED.EU and UKESA which imo has ultimately seen the acceleration of the issues we now suffer from. where do we stand now?

as most have probably realised things are not good in XAC world there are no developers and now less support than ever. Updates are needed and i am totally honest in say that i have no idea if they are in hand. I was forced out really and only stick around out of loyalty to carwash. TNWA have no allegiance from me. Why? because XAC impacts on far more people than just ED, UKESA but all the other leagues that are enforcing the usage of XAC blindly.

All i can say is that XAC still catches hackers and the shots that are reported are still adminned (even by ex XAC admins) and as far as i am aware there are still plans to update XAC in the future.

from your perspective which i suspect is more than slightly tainted, i do feel that the move to shut down UTAN was financially motivated and that Joolz should really have handled it a lot better. However that is way out of my league but i do ,as i have said numerous times, feel for you guys.

I will probably lose all my admin rights because of this post but hey ho i have new things on the horizon and have so for a few weeks now. I just hope they allow me to stay and finish what i started till Carwash gets back.

VARDY 11-08-2009 11:06 PM

heh, at least we are all in the same boat i guess. the thing we do got ruined by TNWA, UTAN and XAC that is (and CLUK if you went).

im glad the UKeSA has gone since it was not representative of the UK gaming scene. if anything it was to please sponsors/investors which is in no way a viable business plan. tough luck for ED, it was looking good for a while then it just went horrid.

look to the future and just coming back from i37 i know that MPUK will be picking up on some stuff that TNWA managed to try unsuccessfully.

Ruination your entire argument fails on one main little fact here it works it might not be the favoured tool due to some bugs, but the fact is you get it for free it helps catch cheats and yet you moan. Instead of moaning about the AC here's an idea do one of your own and see how far you get.

Yeah it needs updated and will prolly go downhill but its was a free AC.

bradlewis 12-08-2009 02:08 PM

Good luck with eurokrieg hagz :)

imageless Deception! shall be there :D

muppetalert__ 12-08-2009 02:16 PM
